By day, I am an IT professional and undergraduate student.
Aside from the obvious geekery, I also have a passion for food – baking, cooking, analyzing recipes – you name it, I love it.
In addition, I adore writing and reading. I also enjoy just about any creative endeavor, whether it be photography, drawing, or any other visual art.
My third passion, after technology and anything creative, is women and gender studies.
Now that I’m done gushing about what I love, let me tell you a bit more about myself.
I’m 22 years old, and I hail from a small town in east central Illinois. I will be completing my Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Technologies in May 2012. After that, I will likely be moving out of this state to begin my life as an “adult” in the “real world.” However, details on that subject cannot be shared just yet.
Hmm. What else? This is more difficult than I initially anticipated.
I’m a very curious person, and I am obsessed with details. Perhaps too much at times. I love to laugh, and I am very easily amused. I’m not a morning person in any sense of the word, and if reincarnation does exist, I would prefer to come back as a pampered, domestic house cat.
I enjoy most animals, and I would someday love to have a kitty and a Siberian husky. I absolutely love trying and learning new things. I enjoy exploring and find it extremely vital to possess the desire to constantly grow as a person.
I am far from perfect, but I’m learning to accept and even love myself for who I am. I can be shy, but I am constantly working on breaking out of my shell. At the same time, I am a-okay with being a reserved individual. I will never be that super bubbly girl, but I will always strive to be a kind, loyal, honest, and friendly girl.
I think this is enough to give you a general idea of who I am. Thanks for stopping by.
